This is the first study of the Waterway that included a...

Good fishing in the area

It seems walleye reports are pretty good on the area lakes. Burt, Crooked, Charlevoix, and Walloon are all giving up their bounty. Good thing, salmon fishing remains really slow.

Fish Flies

Well the flies have been morphing sporadically over the last couple of weeks but last night was a major hatch. Only caught 2 eyes, and they were small. 3 nights earlier caught 22 in about 3 1/2 hours, same spot. I think things will finally slow down because of the hatch. Oh well, the fish could use a re...

It's been slower for me this spring than in past years. Catching some fish but they sure aren't jumping in the boat like Asian Carp. I'm yet to catch anything big.
