All tournaments are 7:00 am to 3:00 pm with registration and live well checks beginning around 6:00 am.
Thanks to all club members who were able to attend our spring meeting at Maple Bay Marine.The club discussed the option of changing the Bays De Noc tournament to a different location.To maximize our attendance at our August event and allow all members to have input, we will hold a vote at the conclusion of the Lake Charlevoix tournament.Each team may cast two votes to keep the schedule the same or to switch to another location.If you are a paid member and will not be present at the Lake Charlevoix tournament, you can call or email me with your vote in advance.

Lake Charlevoix Tournament
Please plan on arriving early to allow extra time for registration and getting to the take-off area at the south end of the narrows in Ironton.Be sure to monitor channel 68.For those who would like to start the event fishing the big arm of the lake, you can stage at the no-wake buoy just around from the barges in Ironton and await the countdown on the radio.There are no boundaries for this event (all of Lake Charlevoix, Round Lake, and Lake Michigan are open to fishing). Make sure to have all your required safety equipment to meet USCG guidelines. Word on the water is the Coast Guard has been checking many of the boaters out this spring.
Directions from the north:
Take US 31 south and travel through Charlevoix past Holiday gas station.Turn left at the light on M-66 towards Ironton.Just before the Ironton Ferry, turn left on 5th street and the boat launch is on the right.
