Not sure if any of the club officers have already gotten back with you. You can register at the spring meeting or at the first tournament. 2017 schedule should be posted next month some time. Any questions you might have you should find answers to on this page or ask. Someone will respond but it may take some time as it's the "off" season.

do you need a big fancy boat to do these tournaments or is it an average joe type tournament? this is my rig, nothing special.

You will be good. But if you go to Saginaw Bay and its windy you might have trouble.

Ya I grew up on the bay, when I saw that on the tournament schedule it made me a little nervous but worst case I guess Is I dont go out.
