There have been many rumors involving the FLW Walleye tour in recent weeks.  So here's the outcome:

The FLW Walleye Tour has been dissolved and in it's place is now the Cabelas National Walleye Tour.  As of now, it will follow nearly the same format, sponsors, and contingencies as the FLW did in the past.  A new tournament director announcement is soon to come. 

This explains to some degree the uncertaintly involving Cabelas NTC and its new affiliation with the Walleye Federation.  I guess Cabelas had this in the works and they decided to involve the Walleye Federation to manage the NTC knowing that they would be taking over the former FLW and have two tournament trails to deal with.

So, look for Cabelas National Walleye Tour to be the premier circuit in the walleye world starting next year!
