Inland Waterway Tournament Results (October 6, 2012)

Our final banquet was again a fun event at Maple Bay Marine.  Thanks to Diane and Tim for getting everything together for us!  We awarded our top 5 teams on the year:

Biggest Walleye:  John Wilson and Adam Schrocki  6.60 lbs.

Youth trophies were awarded to Lane Warner, Gunner Cameron, and Austin Landon.

Congratulations to our team of the year, Todd & Gail Scharfee who earned a Cabela’s NTC spot for the National Team Championship held in conjunction with the Master’s Walleye Circuit.  The event will be contested on the St. Mary’s River on August 22-24, 2013.  Our club has submitted our numbers to Cabela’s who are now deciding how any additional spots will be allocated.  

Congratulations to our lucky folks that did well in the drawings.  Gail Scharfee won both the battery sponsored by Carquest and also the Lowrance HD 5 sponsored by Maple Bay Marine.  Rob Johnston split the pot in the 50/50.  Anthony Taylor took home the muzzle loader while Doug Blaskowski reeled in the Offshore package.

The NLWC welcomes new board members: Pat Keiser (VP), Mark Jacobs (Secretary), and Mike Saker (trustee).  Thanks go out to exiting board members Gail Scharfee, Scott Landon, and Don Schlappi for their service to the club.
