Happy New Year club members!  Our 2012 tournament schedule is as follows:

The NLWC will also host our 4^th annual Ice Fishing Tournament on Burt Lake on March 3, 2012 from 7:00am – 3:00pm.  Registration forms will be available at Maple Bay Marine and Pat and Gary’s Party Store beginning February 1^st.  If anyone from the club would like to help volunteer for this event, please contact a board member.   You can also register the day of the event before 9:00 am.  We will have both adult and youth categories, so come on out and enjoy a great day on the ice.  Proceeds from this event will help support our club and fish stocking of our area lakes.

We are seeking sponsors for both our open water season as well as our Ice Fishing Tournament.  If you know of any businesses that might be interested in supporting us please pass that along.  Unfortunately, we have lost a sponsor, and The Northern Lakes Walleye Club would like to thank Mackinaw Outfitters for supporting us the past few years.

Due to the unseasonably warm temperatures we’ve experienced so far this winter, ice fisherman are encouraged to use extreme caution as many of our area lakes are presently very hazardous.

Please work on recruitment of new teams for the upcoming season and stay tuned to our website for future updates and fishing reports.
