December 2010 Newsletter

The 2010 season certainly was a competitive and exciting year.  In fact several records were broken including:

Most fish caught by the club in a season                              239 walleyes

Most weight caught by the club in a season                         512.13 pounds

Most fish caught at a single event (Inland Waterway)          88 walleyes

Heaviest basket for a single team (Gail and Todd)              29.07 pounds

Thanks to all the all teams who competed in the events and demonstrated great sportsmanship and all of our sponsors for supporting us.

During the spring meeting in March, club members are encouraged to offer suggestions for an optional July club outing.

The 3^rd annual Burt Lake Ice Fishing Tournament is scheduled for March 5, 2011.  We expect a great turnout again for this fun-filled family event.  Please contact a board member if you’d like to volunteer to help with this event.
