The AIM International Walleye Championship AND the AIM International Team Championship are less than two months away! BOTH tournaments will be begin on September 15, 2011.
Fishing reports from Lake Oahe have been FANTASTIC! As a participating tournament in the AIM Sanctioned Series, you have the ability to nominate your top anglers to participate in these upcoming Championships.
To refresh your memory, there are TWO opportunities for your top anglers.
First, the members of your top team may elect to compete as Pros in the AIM International Championship. There are ONLY 66 AIM Pros who will are eligible to participate in this Championship. Your top anglers are eligible to receive an invitation to compete against the "best of the best". First place will earn a Lund/Mercury rig valued at over $65,000! In addition, Lund and Crestliner are paying contingencies to the winner. The Pro Angler entry fee is $1500.
Second, the members of your top team may elect to compete as a TEAM in the AIM international Team Championship. The AIM Sanctioned Series includes almost 100 tournament organizations across the U.S. and Canada. Entries for the Team Championship are limited to the FIRST 30 team entries. The entry fee for the Team championship is $500 per team.
The Teams will be competing for a total purse of over $15,000 in cash, plus prizes provided by the AIM Marketing Partners. Included in the prize pool will be a Yamaha T8 kicker motor awarded to the team that catches the single largest walleye - a prize valued at over $2,200!
You eligible team may be the 2011 "Team of the Year", your 2010 champions, or whatever YOU choose! The determination of the recipients of these invitations is up to you - BUT you need to submit them as soon as possible to insure their entry.
Again, TEAM entries are limited to the first 30 teams. Pro Angler entries will close one week before the tournament on September 8th.
